The Center is in great need of additional volunteers, including:

  • Client Intake and Resource Specialist volunteers, who gather initial client information, enter client information into the tracking system, assist clients with paperwork, and refer clients to local resources for assistance. The ideal candidate for this role is a person who has some experience with human services, case work, or eligibility assessments, and is comfortable with basic computer applications.
    • Length of project: Ongoing
    • Time commitment: 4-5 hours twice per week, 6-month commitment
  • Receptionist volunteers, who answer phones, greet and assist clients with paperwork and forms, and help with email. The ideal candidate for this role is friendly, reliable, has professional phone etiquette, and is comfortable with basic computer applications.
    • Length of project: Ongoing
    • Time commitment: 2-8 hours twice per week, 3-6-month commitment
